The cold shoulder

The last thing you probably want to think about right now is cold and flu season. But this is inevitably the time of year when a lot of us end up coming down with the dreaded "summer cold." Which just goes to show you that it doesn't have to be cold for you to catch one.

But those summer colds could be a thing of the past for those of us who know about the secret weapon Dr. Wright wrote about in the November 2006 issue of Nutrition & Healing. It's called Cold-fX, and while it's still relatively unknown here in the U.S., it continues to make major inroads in the Canadian health care industry.

Recently, the Office of Emergency Preparedness in Edmonton, Alberta, announced that it was planning to stockpile this all-natural remedy as part of its pandemic toolkit.

Let's hope this sort of thinking starts seeping south, across the border. Until then, you can get Cold-fX here in the U.S. in most pharmacies and natural food stores. If you can't find it, it's also available from the Tahoma Clinic Dispensary.
