Maximizing tea time

Q: I hear all the time about the life-extending benefits of green tea. But I'm not sure I'd want to live longer if I had to spend all my extra time guzzling tea. How much do I really need to drink to get these benefits?

JVW: Studies show that the more you drink, the greater the benefit. To have a significant effect on your longevity you would likely need to drink around three to four cups of green tea a day or take the equivalent as a dietary supplement.

But don't forget that green tea does contain caffeine, so you might need to adjust your intake of caffeine from other sources if you want to get a good night's sleep along with all of green tea's life-extending health benefits.
