Snore stoppers

Q: I'm looking for a practical solution to treat my snoring, which unfortunately causes my wife to have many sleepless nights. I would appreciate whatever advice or information you can provide.

JVW: Many botanical combinations for the reduction of snoring are available in natural food stores, compounding pharmacies, and from the Tahoma Clinic Dispensary. They can be quite effective for some people but not helpful at all for others. But since they're safe and inexpensive, trying one of these formulas is a good first step.

These are made by certain dental specialists and by certain ear, nose, and throat specialists. In most cases, they control snoring. But even more importantly, they also control sleep apnea -- even in severe cases.
