The road to recovery, paved with magnets

Q: My brother was in a severe car accident last fall that left him in the hospital until just a few weeks ago. The doctors say he's doing as well as can be expected, but I was wondering if you had any information on natural treatments that may help improve his recovery?

Dr. Wright: I first wrote about high-gauss magnetic therapy (MME) in the April 2004 issue of Nutrition & Healing. Since then, I've given periodic updates in both the newsletter and in the eTips on the treatment and on individuals whose lives have been changed by using it. One of the most striking applications of this therapy is healing the physical trauma that accident victims experience.

I've heard from physicians at the various MME centers that they have seen patients make complete recoveries from incapacitating seizures and crippling pain brought on by accidents. And one doctor even related a story to me about an MME patient who regained the ability to walk after being paralyzed.

For more information on MME therapy, contact one of the MME centers listed below. Including AMRI Washington (which is next door to the Tahoma Clinic), there are presently seven operating MME centers in the United States and Canada (and more are on the way).
